Keita Shimizu, born in Uji, Kyoto, Japan, is simply known as Kei Shimizu. He is a Japanese comedian who is represented by the talent agency, Yoshimoto Kogyo. After graduating from Doshisha Kori Junior and Senior High School, he graduated from Doshisha University Faculty of Commerce by going on to internal studies. After graduating from university, he got a job as an apparel maker. In June 1984, he formed a comedic duo "Kei Shimizu Osamu Izumi (abbreviation: Kei Osamu)" with Doshisha University junior Osamu Izumi.
