Han Shuai is a Chinese screenwriter and director who graduated with a PhD from the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing. Her short films have won a number of awards, including at the Hangzhou Asian Film Festival and the Beijing Student Film Festival. Her debut feature-length film "Han Nan Xia Ri (Summer Blur)" likewise met with success, including winning the Grand Prix of the International Jury in Generation Kplus for the Best Film at the 2021 Berlinale.
