Kisetsu no Nai Machi (2023)

Temporary dwellings were built on a street after the Nani disaster took place. People who lost their homes in that disaster moved into those temporary dwellings. 12 years since the disaster, 18 households are still living in the temporary dwellings. The people there have their own reasons for remaining. They scrape out a living. If residents make more than 120,000 yen a month, they must move out. Shinsuke Tanaka is offered money to report on what he sees and hears among the residents of the temporary dwellings. He sneaks onto the street of temporary dwellings with his cat and begins to live there. In fact, Shinsuke Tanaka is the one who lost everything in the Nani disaster and he just lives without any meaning in his life. While observing the residents of the temporary dwellings, he becomes attached to them including Tatsuya and Okabe. Meanwhile, a rumor begins to spread that the temporary dwellings will be destroyed.
