He began learning how to dance in the second year of elementary school and began learning acrobatics in junior high. For a time, he signed with the agency Central Japan in Nagoya. In April 2010, alongside Shimizu Tenki, he formed a dance performance unit. Additionally, he participated with Tenki in the predecessor project of what would become "BOYS AND MEN", a local all-male idol group in Nagoya alongside Tanaka Shunsuke and Hiramatsu Kento.
