Sakura Mayumi is a Japanese actress born in Imabari, Ehime, Japan. She is affiliated with Niko Film. Sakura developed a passion for films of various genres from a young age, influenced by her mother. Although she aspired to pursue a career in acting, she decided to enter the Department of Sociology, specializing in Mass Communication Studies at Kansai University in 2002, graduating in 2005. During her university years, she auditioned and enrolled in a theatrical training institute in Kansai. There, she studied Japanese traditional dance (Hanayagi-ryu), narration, and acting techniques.
